ASTREA

A Narrative LED Circus Show & Visual Allegory

Astrea navigates the delicate transition from the isolated ego to collective custodianship.

Through the interplay of a Pixel Cyr Wheel—symbolizing the internal harmony of the individual—

and a monumental LED Arch representing the cosmic order,

the show explores how our shared vision can restore a broken equilibrium.

The Story & Philosophy: A Mythic Tale of Hope

Inspired by the greek myth of Astrea, this production explores the human condition and our collective potential through a modern lens. Full of meaning but performed without words, the story unfolds through a breathless chain of action-packed events, ensuring that even the youngest spectators remain fully engaged. By blending ancient myth with state-of-the-art synchronized digital scenography, Astrea tells a story where every individual has a vital role to play.

The show suggests that a leap of compassion and collaboration is necessary if we are to become the custodians of life on Earth. From a utopian vision of the past, through the current environmental crisis, and toward a brighter future, Astrea explores the central moral problem of our time in dramatic and visually stunning ways. It marvels at the limitless potential of a united humanity and our shared destiny among the stars.

Cinematic LED Visuals
& Theatrical Innovation

By working together towards a common vision, humanity can overcome the challenges of our time to create a brighter future.

In the Summer of 2025, Astrea was reimagined as an intimate and powerful duo performance. This version deepens the narrative through mesmerizing interactions between the artists and our programmable LED arch. The production features non-stop luminous object manipulation, including LED juggling, pixel poi, and a high-tech acrobatic Cyr wheel performance.

By removing the need for traditional aerial rigging, the show has become logistically more accessible for a wider variety of theater stages while actually increasing the narrative focus on the chemistry and synchronization of the two performers.

A Premium Production for Cultural Seasons & Major Events

Astrea is a “ready-to-tour” production designed to integrate seamlessly into the technical environments of theatres and performance halls. Blending an allegory on ecology with a captivating LED aesthetic, the show mesmerizes young audiences with its visual magic while offering adults a profound reflection on human solidarity.

This duo version offers a monumental scenography—featuring the LED Arch and vertical Cyr wheel—with optimized logistics and no requirements for aerial rigging. It is a poetic and universal journey, ideal for high-end holiday events, international festivals, and cultural programming.

Astrea offers more than just high-tech visuals; it provides a narrative depth and logistical ease that fits perfectly into contemporary theatre seasons and premium event schedules. We provide a professional, tour-ready experience from first contact to the final curtain call.

A Word from the Creator, Srikanta Barefoot

“I aimed to create a story where the power to shape the future lies within the individual. By using a color spectrum as a symbol for harmony, the show focuses on the internal equilibrium of the self as the starting point for global change. It is a story told without words, using cinematic LED visuals to show that when we align our own ‘inner puzzle,’ we become capable of a unified vision that reaches far beyond our own ego—out toward the stars.”
